Francis Bacon and the Order of the Helmet
Sir Francis Bacon and his Knights of the Helmet spent part of their year in which they possessed the KJV manuscript re-arranging the Bible so that its very structure formed two pillars -- from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 -- with the mystical number "33" in the middle!
Pallas Athena
It seems that Francis Bacon was the acknowledged leader of the "invisible" Order, dedicated to Pallas Athena. The members of this Secret Literary Society were known as The Knights of the Helmet.
They had a series of ethical rituals created by Francis Bacon, and were initiated with an elaborate ceremony which included a vow, recitatives, and perambulations. The Initiate was capped with the Helmet of Pallas to denote he was henceforth an "Invisible" in the fight for Human Advancement. A large Spear was placed in his hand, indicative of a pen, for he was to Shake the Spear of Knowledge at the Dragons of Ignorance.
As Goddess of Wisdom, Athena was originally chosen to protect and guide the Knights of the Helmet in their initiatic work. This protection continues even today.
The current lifetime Grand Master of the Aurum Solis, Jean-Louis de Biasi has received the highest degrees of several Masonic lineages. He is the one overseeing the Knights of the Helmet who constitute the "Grand College of Initiatic Rites."
Stephen Langton Archbishop of Canterbury
Primate of all England
Stephen Langton is reputed to have been the first to put the chapter divisions into a Vulgate edition of the Bible, in 1205. They were then inserted into Greek manuscripts of the New Testament in the 1400’s.

Stephen Langton (c. 1150 – 9 July 1228) was an English Cardinal of the Roman Catholic Church and Archbishop of Canterbury between 1207 and his death in 1228. The dispute between King John of England and Pope Innocent III over his election was a major factor in the crisis which produced Magna Carta in 1215. Cardinal Langton is also credited with having divided the Bible into the standard modern arrangement of chapters used today.
Magna Carta or the "Great Charter"
Magna Carta Libertatum (Medieval Latin for "the Great Charter of the Liberties"), commonly called Magna Carta (also Magna Charta; "Great Charter"), is a charter of rights agreed to by King John of England at Runnymede, near Windsor, on 15 June 1215. First drafted by the Archbishop of Canterbury to make peace between the unpopular King and a group of rebel barons, it promised the protection of church rights, protection for the barons from illegal imprisonment, access to swift justice, and limitations on feudal payments to the Crown, to be implemented through a council of 25 barons.

The copy of Magna Carta belonging to Lincoln Cathedral left Britain in 1939 for the first time to be in the British Pavilion at the fair. Within months Britain joined World War II and it was deemed safer for it to remain in America until the end of hostilities. It therefore remained in Fort Knox, next to the original copy of the American constitution, until 1947of the American constitution, until 1947

Trylon and Perisphere (Io)
The Trylon and Perisphere were two monumental modernistic structures designed by architects Wallace Harrison and J. Andre Fouilhoux that were together known as the Theme Center of the 1939 New York World's Fair. The Perisphere was a tremendous sphere, 180 feet in diameter, connected to the 610-foot (190 m) spire-shaped Trylon by what was at the time the world's longest escalator. The Perisphere housed a diorama by Henry Dreyfuss called Democracity which, in keeping with the fair's theme "The World of Tomorrow", depicted a utopian city-of-the-future. The interior display was viewed from above on a moving sidewalk, while a multi-image slide presentation was projected on the dome of the sphere. After exiting the Perisphere, visitors descended to ground level on the third element of the Theme Center, the Helicline, a 950-foot-long (290 m) spiral ramp that partially encircled the Perisphere.

Now, back to the original divisions of the Bible...
Robert Estienne, the French printer who added the verses to the Bible. Aka Robert Stephanus, he was the first to number the verses within each chapter
Robert I Estienne (French: [etjÉ›n]; 1503 – 7 September 1559), known as Robertus Stephanus in Latin[1] and sometimes referred to as Robert Stephens[2][3] or Roberti Stephani[4] was a 16th-century printer and classical scholar in Paris was the proprietor of the Estienne print shop after the death of his father Henri Estienne, the founder of the Estienne printing firm. Estienne published and republished many classical texts as well as Greek and Latin translations of the Bible. Known as "Printer to the King" in Latin, Hebrew, and Greek, Estienne's most priominent work was the Thesaurus linguae latinae which is considered to be the foundation of modern Latin lexicography. Addtionally, he was the first to print the New Testament divided into standard numbered verses.
Robert Estienne created an alternate numbering in his 1551 edition of the Greek New Testament which was also used in his 1553 publication of the Bible in French. Estienne's system of division was widely adopted, and it is this system which is found in almost all modern Bibles. Estienne produced a 1555 Vulgate that is the first Bible to include the verse numbers integrated into the text. Before this work, they were printed in the margins. It was used for the Geneva Bible.

Estienne's pressmark with an olive branch and a serpent wound around a spear was first seen in 1544 on the title page of Preparatio Evangelica. It was symbolic of wisdom in times of war and peace. The motto below it translates to "to the wise king and the valiant warrior".
Another device was called Oliva Stephanorum or the olive of the Stephens family with the words of Romans 11:20, Noli altum sapere ("Do not be proud") and later Noli altum sapere, sed time ...("Be not high-minded but fear")] The device shows a man standing by an olive tree. Scholars believe this man is Paul the Apostle who is affirming the importance of faith. This is consistent with Estienne's connection to the Protestant Reformation. The olive tree is meant to represent the tree of knowledge.
1560 Geneva Bible was the first English Bible to use verse numbers based on the work of Stephanus (Robert Estienne of Paris, by this point living in Geneva).
The Douay–Rheims Bible (1609) is a translation of the Bible from the Latin Vulgate into English made by members of the English College, Douai, France, in the service of the Catholic Church.
The purpose of the version was to uphold Catholic tradition in the face of the Protestant Reformation which up till then had dominated Elizabethan religion and academic debate.

Back to the construction of the KJV...
When the KJV was constructed, after the original KJV scholars had given the document to King James I in 1610, one of the changes which were made involved these chapter/verse changes. These seemingly slight changes produced a dramatic effect, as these two pictures illustrate. The structure of the Bible was slightly changed so that the two pillars -- Boaz and Jachin -- were created with a "33" in the middle.
In these two pillars, you have four sides, one going up and one going down. Each of these sides is comprised of a number of chapters equal to 3x3x33, or 297 chapters. Think of each chapter as representing a step up or down one of the sides of the pillar. Thinking of it this way, you have 297 steps going up each pillar and 297 steps going down.
Pillar 1
Left Side Going Up 297 Chapters -- Genesis 1 to I Kings 6
Right Side Going Down 297 Chapters -- I Kings 7 to Psalm 116
Psalm 117 is the chapter in the middle -- representative of the Masonic Square and Compass and/or the sacred occult number, "33".
Pillar 2
Left Side Going Up 297 Chapters -- Psalm 118 to Jonah 3
Right Side Going Down 297 Chapters -- Jonah 4 to Revelation 22
1,189 chapters
297 chapters on each side produces 594 chapters
1,188 chapters, with the one chapter in the middle -- Psalm 117
O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. 2 For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD.
